The KPCS structure

KP Chair and international secretariat
The Chair oversees the implementation of the Kimberley Process Certification Scheme, the operations of the working groups and committees, and general administration. The Chair rotates annually and is selected at the annual "plenary" meeting.

Plenary and intersessional meetings
A plenary and an intersessional meeting are held annually. The annual plenary meeting brings together the participating governments, industry representatives and civil society organisations and provides an opportunity for discussions and decisions regarding the proceedings of the KPCS. At the annual intersessional meeting members of the various working group come together to discuss issues specific to their working group.
